African Auto Parts (“AAP”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the African Auto Parts mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the App or contact us through it. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Contact information you submit when requesting more information (name, email address, phone number, message).
Inquiry details such as the product ID/title you are interested in and the city/model filters you apply.
Device and usage data (log files, IP address, device type, operating system, crash logs) collected automatically via our hosting providers and analytics tools.
We do not collect payment information within the App.

Respond to your inquiries and connect you with sellers.
Provide, operate, and improve the App, including troubleshooting and analytics.
Communicate updates, promotions, and service notices (you may opt out of marketing emails).
Protect our services against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
Comply with legal obligations.

We share information only with:

Service providers who help us host the App, route inquiries via email, or analyze app performance (each bound by confidentiality obligations).
Sellers/partners who need your inquiry details to respond.

We do not sell your personal information.

Inquiry records are stored for as long as necessary to process your request and maintain transaction logs, then archived or deleted according to our retention schedule and legal requirements.

We use technical and organizational safeguards (TLS encryption, access controls, audit logs) to protect your information. No system is fully secure; please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

We operate in Canada but may store data on servers located in the United States or other jurisdictions. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in those locations, subject to adequate safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App and at the link below. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
